Helya's bachelorette party was more than fun. It was relaxing, silly, nostalgic, and wild all in one weekend. You know the weekend is going to be a good one when you're greeted with shots and skittles!
Before the party officially started, I whipped up a penis cake. What's a bachelorette party without some penis??
All of the girls arrived for the Pleasure Party. If you don't know what a Pleasure Party is, you should look it up. It was hilarious. It was super fun. It got a little awkward! Luckily, we were in good company and the sangria was flowing!
Saturday was the kind of day I wish I had every day. I had one of the best mani pedis ever, a lunch made entirely of bruschetta, a nap, and my bestie. What could be better?
One thing I miss most about my girls living in SLO is getting ready for a night out together. Swapping make-up, helping each other with our hair, and choosing the best outfit. Love nights like this! We dressed up Helya in a boa, veil, penis whistle necklace, and some funky buttons!
After a few vodka + skittles shots, a speedy game of Pin the Macho on the Man, our limo arrived to take us VIP status into San Francisco for the night.
Helya wore a diamond ring made for shots, but instead, filled it with skittles! Brilliant! All night, the skittles kept falling out of the ring...and Haleh put it best, "don't lose the bling!!"
We ate dinner, tapas style at an amazing little restaurant,
Pisco Latin Lounge. If you live in SF or you are visiting, I HIGHLY recommend it. Everything I ate was like a piece of heaven. Especially the quinoa risotto balls, peruanitos, and the empanadas. YUM!
The limo picked us up from dinner and took us to Ruby Sky for drinking and dancing. We had our own booth with bottle service. All of us danced together, and Helya found a boa buddy who I'm pretty sure was gay, which was good because most of the straight guys were creepers!
This is probably my favorite picture of the night. Julie's face sums up the dance floor scene perfectly: CREEPY.
And not so creepy:
Uh oh, no more bling!
The rest of the night gets fuzzy, but I remember when the limo came to pick us up, Helya was trying to get me to come but I kept saying, "wait! one more drink!" Don't get me wrong, I like a good cocktail and a fun night out - its a rarity for me. But the real reason why I was so adamant about that one more drink?? We barely touched our bottle of vodka and I didn't want it to go to waste!!!! ;) Seriously, I think we drank about an 1/8th of the bottle between the 7 of us!
Our German friend, "what's this?". Helya's response, "just drink it!"
Guess who's the only one with a drink!
Well, I definitely paid for that one more drink the next morning. So hung I couldn't even function, especially with the thought of driving 4 hours home. But, I'd do it all over again for such a fun weekend with my Helya!! And special shout out to Haleh for hosting such a fabulous weekend! Everything was perfect!
